At long last, we are finally adding a new card to the game Side Effects. This card is going to be a literal game-changer — and will be available in all new editions!
And if you already own the game, you can get this new card for FREE! Read on to learn more...
Why we HAD to add this new card
Over the last few years, we've faced many changes and challenges — and we've played many, many games of Side Effects. As you know, we try to add a dash of verisimilitude to every game we make, but with Side Effects, it felt like we were missing something — something that represents how we're all feeling right now. Something that captures the way we treat the world around us and the world within us.
Which is that all of this — the conflicts we witness everyday, the issues we wrestle with inside ourselves, the trajectory of our future — it's all just great!
Introducing...

That's right! The Denial card is the perfect addition to Side Effects. Here's how it works...
Shuffle in the Denial cards at the beginning of the game. If you're lucky enough to come across one in the deck, play it on your Psyche as you would a Drug card. It treats everything! So, you just won the game!
"We believe the Denial card will be a great addition to the game not just because it's the best card to have, but because it's really the only thing we can truly all do together right now."
Make sure to check for the Denial card in all new editions of Side Effects, but you can get your free copy by writing a letter with your name and address to:

Yeah — can you imagine? But in all seriousness, we DO have a new card we've made for Side Effects. No. Not card. CARDS. And we're going to be revealing these additions, what they do, and how to get them this week. Stay tuned. ☕
The fact that I had fully drafted a letter and was ready to send it before I realized it was April Fools...
Jokes on you, I'm actually going to make one and add it to my game now...
April 1st. Shame.
Awesome! Looking forward to it!
