Good day to you all! And what a lovely day it is. I write to you now from beautiful Hackney in London. The sky is awash in shades of gray. A slight chill wafts through the deciduous flora of London Fields. There’s a feeling at any moment that it may rain just a little bit. It’s awesome.
The Pillbox crew is trickling into Europe over the next week to prepare for the UK Games Expo! We couldn’t be more excited (seriously, our doctors advised us not to get any more excited as it could cause permanent internal organ damage)!

Perfect Stranger is arriving in August (fingers crossed)
We’ve had a bit of a delay with our Perfect Stranger run (both the base game and the Spicy edition) due to the tariffs. But now we’re full steam ahead and we should be seeing those land in August.
You can still help us out and secure your copy by pre-ordering today! There was no Kickstarter for Perfect Stranger so pre-orders really help us cover the initial manufacturing and marketing costs of this truly incredible new game. Check out the trailer below!

A Hex Effects 2nd printing is already on its way to our warehouses. After an incredible sold-out 1st run (in a matter of months), we have more coming soon.
Plus, we’ve once again partnered with Barnes & Noble for a special edition of the game that comes with two new action cards!
Hex Effects: Bad Omens is a complete Hex Effects game with the addition of two “bad omen” cards.
Albatross: This card can be used as the final treatment you need to win the game OR it can be used to (out of turn) nix someone else’s final treatment they need to win. This strange and versatile card is highly coveted and can add an almost “social deduction” feel to the game given its extreme power — everyone will want to know who’s got the albatross.
Full Moon: A full moon has a damning effect on all your opponents, as it triggers one Disaster per player! Go around clockwise deciding which Disaster punishment gets enacted for each person.
In addition to these two new cards, the Bad Omens edition comes in a special silver foil cover box. We have only printed 5,000 of these and have no plans to print any more. Buy it now to add to your collection!

I have to say as a UK fan of this game, we play it weekly in my local games group, I'm really disappointed that these new cards are being locked behind an exclusive version we can't even get our hands on,i know Barnes and Noble pay for this and it gets good recognition for you (same happened with chip theory games recently although their deal fell through) but it does feel like a middle finger to your uk fans in all honesty.
I'm looking forward to seeing you at games expo and i hope you're selling the extra cards there
